Centara Villas Samui - Lamai Beach (Koh Samui)

Beautiful pools and kayaking.

The bed was EXCEPTIONALly comfortable and the room itself was fashionable and reasonably spacious. The location was stunning, for example, Samui Butterfly Garden was around 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff were great and ready to render an exceptional service.

The beautiful ocean view twin room offered a cool and spacious layout, with a private beachfront just steps away. Friendly staff welcomed us with a refreshing drink at check-in, setting a positive tone for our stay. Breakfast featured a vast selection that catered to all tastes, and I enjoyed the fresh local dishes. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a bit cramped, and we experienced some service delays at the restaurant during peak hours.

The pools, although dated & a bit old like the rest of the resort, were nice & because there were 3 of the them you could usually find a spare lounger.

Resort was very dated and tired looking and room chosen did not look like photo on Booked.net site.. We upgraded immediately ( at an extra cost) to make stay more comfortable. Also found Centara Villas quite isolated from general shopping/tourist areas but they did run shuttles, at a small cost, to some areas. There were also many many steps on the property so would not recommend to anyone with any health problems.

Family friendly retreat worth the trip

The kids loved the private beach, where we spent hours kayaking and just relaxing in the sun, and the pools were a perfect escape for some fun.

Not exactly a bargain, but honestly, it was fine.

The private beach at Centara was fine. Crystal-clear waters and beautiful views made for great relaxation. The villa was cozy and provided a lot of comfort. I loved having our own pool. It was well-maintained and perfect for a private swim. The staff were friendly. Enjoyed the daily activities and the Thai cooking class was a fun bonus. The food and drinks felt overpriced, especially compared to places outside the resort. We encountered a leaky shower, but it was fixed promptly. The stairs around the hotel were quite challenging, especially in the heat. It would have been nice if there were shuttle options or less steep paths to navigate the hilly areas.

Just a fine choice for a weekend break in Lamai Beach with really good value. The staff really were very good, especially the bar manager who helped with a surprise proposal. Make sure to check the shuttle bus times if you plan on exploring the area.

The Beautiful Garden View King room was spacious, with a private bathroom and a lovely balcony for morning coffee. There's a nice private beach to chill on, three pools to choose from, and the food at breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff were super friendly and helped with everything we needed. Oh, and the daily happy hours at the bar were a bonus!

The private beach was a dream to relax on and we loved that the villas provided so much comfort. Be sure to try the Thai cooking class, it's a blast! And don't miss the daily activities at the bar.

The hotel feels quite run-down, with aging infrastructure and cleanliness issues that tarnish the experience. My room encountered water issues, with the balcony taking several days to resolve a flooding problem, leading to some safety concerns. The breakfast selection did not meet expectations, leaning heavily towards Thai cuisine, which may not cater well to diverse international tastes. The beach is rocky rather than sandy, which might disappoint anyone expecting a typical tropical shore experience.

Overall had a really nice stay with a memorable holiday experience.
